Accused Hackensack Arsonist Caught Breaking Into New Milford Library: Police
Authorities reported that a 26 year old male was taken into custody for alleged arson following his intrusion into the New Milford Library, on Monday the 28 of October.
At 11;19 pm night the police were called to the New Milford Public Library after a burglar alarm went off according to the New Milford police departments report. When they arrived at the scene they found a window at the back of the building, with glass both inside and outside as noted by the police.
Officers set up a perimeter around the building and upon checking the librarys security system they found an individual in the building who turned out to be Patrick Fearon hiding under a bench, in the hallway; subsequently he was taken into custody.
Police stated that Fearon faced charges of burglary well as criminal mischief and trespassing.
Month Fearon was alleged to have started fires that damaged an empty Fort F350 pickup truck belonging to Bergen County and then spread to another county owned pickup truck in the parking lot of Bergen County Academies, on Hackensack Avenue on Thursday September 19th as stated by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Fearon walked up to the truck in the parking lot. Smashed the window on the drivers side before starting a fire, with a flammable substance as stated by Musella. Afterwards Fearon fled from the scene without informing authorities about the fire as confirmed by officials.
