What Discontinued Off-Roader Deserves A Modern Revival?
It took a while for Scout Motors to unveil their revamped models after hinting at them for a couple of years. The Terra pickup and Traveler SUV concepts sure made an impression last week with their retro charm thats not overly cheesy! This got me pondering; which other vintage, off road vehicles should make a comeback in a style?
The AMC Eagle comes to mind away for me. It was one of the original crossover vehicles that combined car design with the raised ride height and four wheel drive features of a genuine SUV.The Eagle was offered by AMC in six different body styles including a two door notchback coupe and hatchback and also a four door sedan, among others.I believe reintroducing the Eagle as a vehicle would be a great idea. With the help of an electric platform it could be simpler to manufacture those specialized body designs. Considering the reception towards comparable crossovers such as the Subaru Crosstrek there's potential for it to become popular. I'm curious, about how the Eagles design would be updated for todays times well.
Hey there readers! If you had the chance to bring back any off roader model today regardless of whether its electric or vintage but still cool enough for a revival. Which one would you choose? Personally I'd love to see the return of the Honda Element and Subaru Baja; however classics, like the Willys Jeepster could also make a comeback! Share your thoughts in the comments section and we'll gather them up by the end of this week.
