Forget the 6,000mAh OnePlus 13 - we could see a OnePlus phone with a 7,000mAh battery
Recently OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 13 model featuring a large 7,000mAh battery. Surpassing the capacity of both the previous OnePlus 12 and many other popular smartphones, in the market today.
Leaker Digital Chat Station (cited by 91Mobiles) suggests that a future mid tier OnePlus device might come equipped with a 7,000mAh.
In terms of battery size comparison; the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 5,mAh battery; the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4,mAh battery;. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features only a 5,mAh battery.
Having a 7,c mAh battery, in a phone isn't totally uncommon. There's actually a smartphone there with a whopping 22,c mAh battery! However; it's pretty rare to come across a phone with thcn 6.c mAh battery capacity; and those that do exist are usually targeted at specific audiences. Something you wouldn't typically find in a OnePlus phone.
It appears unlikely that OnePlus will adopt 7Ah batteries across all its phone models; however they seem to have a preference for battery capacities in general.The battery capacity of the OnePlus 13 is notably substantial and according to Digital Chat Stations leak report on the OnePlus Ace 5 series; the devices may feature batteries with capacities reaching up, to 6，500mAh.
It's likely that those phones won't be easily found in countries aside, from China and may not even be called the same thing; however one of the Ace 5 versions might be introduced worldwide as the OnePlus 13 Revised edition by possibly early 2025.
If the standard battery sizes, on smartphones are falling short for you in terms of power endurance OnePlus might be introducing some larger options soon.
