Jubilant Foodworks Q2 net profit at Rs 66.53 cr

In its report for the period ending on September 30th of 2024 Jubilant Foodworks Ltd announced a combined net income of Rs 66. 53 Crore, for the quarter.

The business entity that manages fast food establishments like Dominos Pizza and Dunkin' among others in India declared a combined net profit of Rs 97. 20 Crore for the quarter in the previous financial year as, per the disclosure made by Jubilant Foodworks Ltd ( JFL ).

In the filing report it was mentioned that revenue generated in the quarter amounted to Rs 1 954 72 crore compared to Rs 1 368 63 crore, in the same period last year.

Expenses for the quarter totaled Rs 1 89567 crore compared to Rs 1 29017 crore, in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

According to JFLs financial reportings the results for the recent time frames cannot be directly compared to those of earlier periods due to the acquisition of a controlling interest in DP Eurasia N.V by its subsidiary Jubilant Foodworks Netherlands B.V as of March 31st 2024; as a result of this transaction the group has adjusted its financial records to include the investment, in DPEUnce

In a statement released together by JFL Chairman Shyam S Bhartia and Co Chairman Hari S Bhartia mentioned that the company experienced growth in the second quarter as they expanded the JFL network by opening 139 new stores in various brands and markets.

In Indias operations department alone generated a revenue of Rs 1466 led by an 8 growth, in Dominos India During the period a total of 51 stores were opened among all brands bringing the total number to 2 199 stores

In the market scene the operational revenue stood at Rs 460 million five hundred thousand despite Dominos Bangladesh revenue being Rs 12 million six hundred thousand lower by 0ver five percent due, to temporary store shutdowns amid a tough operational setting.The statement noted that all stores have resumed operations.
