Microsoft Edge 132.0.2945.0 is out in Dev Channel with fixes for multiple crashes

This week marks the release of a browser build for Edge Insiders to try out. Version 132(2)2945(3). It has made its way to all supported platforms with a focus being placed upon addressing issues for Android and iOS users specifically without introducing any new features this time around; instead offering a series of, behind the scenes enhancements for users to benefit from.

Enhanced Functions;

Added a function to show advanced settings buttons on the webUI interface 3.

Enhanced Conduct;

Fixed a problem that made the browser crash when logging out after changing from landscape to portrait mode on an iPad and resolved another issue that caused a crash, on iOS when logging into an AAD account.

Changed Conduct;

We fixed a problem where the close tab button 'x’ was too tiny in Game Assist, another issue where a diamond appeared on the wallpaper of the tab page after restarting the browser and an error with the tab group button displaying incorrectly in the favorites bar was also resolved. Additionally we addressed a situation where the browser was unable to shut down from Kiosk mode and corrected an issue that caused clicking ‘Share’ on the PDF toolbar to redirect to the share option, in the address bar. Fixed a problem by changing the 'Game Assist" setting to 'Game Assist (Preview)' in the Settings.

Fixed a problem where the address bar content loaded prior, to the address bar appearing on Android devices.

iOS provides a user operating system, for Apple devices.

Fixed a problem where the top sites within the ZIP container would move up and down on iOS devices. Corrected an issue where the 'Add to Reading List' option was mistakenly showing up in the context menu when tapping any link on iOS. Addressed a concern with the security lock icon in the omnibox displaying a color, on iOS devices.

Resolved a problem where the keyboard shortcuts (Command + V for paste and Command + C for copy and Command + V for paste again ) were not working on the side panels of extensions in the browser on Mac devices. Fixed a situation where opening the browser resulted in a prompt saying 'Microsoft Canary is requesting permission to access data from applications, on Mac'.
