Zelensky After Meeting with Trump: Peace Is Possible
The war must end as soon as possible and in a just manner, emphasized the President of Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described his meeting with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump in Paris as "good and productive." He shared this in a Telegram post on Saturday, December 7. Zelensky noted that Trump was determined as always.
"I thank him. I also express my gratitude to Emmanuel for organizing this important meeting. We all want this war to end as soon as possible and in a just way. We talked about our people, the situation on the ground, and a fair peace," explained the President.
At the same time, Zelensky stressed that they agreed to continue working together and stay in touch.
"Peace through strength is possible," he underscored.
It is worth noting that today in Paris, a meeting took place between Volodymyr Zelensky, Emmanuel Macron, and Donald Trump. The discussion lasted 35 minutes, with no press statements following the meeting.
