Shaq Chops Up A Lucid Air, Just So He Can Fit In It
When basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal thinks of his dream car, he buys it - even if it doesn't actually exist at the time. Most people who recently purchased the first widebody carbon fiber Cybertruck may have been happy to kick back and not go car shopping for a while, but not Shaq. The 7'1" NBA player has gone one better by ordering a one-off Lucid Air, one of the fastest sedans in the world, and decided to make it one of the fastest coupes in the world.

According to a new video posted by @shaq, the deep purple Lucid Air was delivered to Shaq, showing what looks like new larger side doors, rear window and shorter roofline. The caption by @shaq and @hotfreestyle read: "SHAQ had his new Lucid Air turned into a 2-door and customized to match his Rolls-Royce Cullinan, all done by @westcoastcustoms. When you're 7'1", you've got to do things your own way..."

The customization of the Lucid Air didn't stop at its new coupe bodyshape, which looks good enough to be a showroom model. The car was also fitted with Shaq's "Superman" logo on huge black multispoke alloys, which are fitted with ultra-low profile Lexani Tires. Just like on a Rolls, the wheel logos on the Lucid stay static when the rims are turning. The finishing touch, and a great piece of irony, is Shaq's "Diesel" nickname written across the front of the car where it would normally say "Lucid."

The Lucid is the work of West Coast Customs, the iconic customization house that has worked on dozens of crazy projects for high end clients over the years. West Coast Customs also worked on a custom Rolls Royce Cullinan for Shaq a year before the Lucid was delivered, and both cars have similar paintwork and wheels.
Shaq's car collection is legendary, and now he has a number of widebody Cybertrucks, as well as various other custom trucks. The basketball star is not the only one with a love for custom Cybertrucks - Kim Kardashian also has a unique version of the Tesla truck to rival Shaq's.
