Donald Trump Declares U.S. Will Become World Capital of Artificial Intelligence and Cryptocurrency: Market Participants React

US President Donald Trump announced the United States' intention to become the world capital of artificial intelligence (AI) and cryptocurrencies. According to him, the development of these industries is crucial for economic growth and innovation, setting the strategic direction for the country in the coming years. The editorial team of Finance Daily News sought comments on this statement from Bruno Bailey, CEO of leading AI trading platform TechBerry, and Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.
"I can't say this announcement came as a surprise to us. We've been aware of these plans by the Trump administration for some time, actively supported them, and participated directly in consultations regarding AI. Of course, I'm very encouraged by the president's statement. It's one thing at the consultation level, but another matter when this project moves into the implementation phase. It's no secret that AI has been a core tool for TechBerry since 2015. In practice, this means that significant advancements in AI capabilities will boost our performance, undoubtedly reflecting the company's profits.
As for cryptocurrency development, my stance can be described as 'cautious optimism.' I believe that transforming the crypto market is only possible by creating a new cryptocurrency under government oversight, which would be strictly regulated by all civilized countries. Achieving this with existing cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin is impossible. Building a global crypto infrastructure in which all participants in the worldwide accept a cryptocurrency where 50% is held in the wallets of anonymous creators is unrealistic. Whether those holding such a significant volume are governments or crypto-enthusiasts, it allows them to control and manipulate the currency fully. Few countries in the world would bet on Bitcoin as the leading cryptocurrency. This is evident even today, as almost no country has fully legalized or regulated Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Our platform's activities are entirely independent of cryptocurrencies and their valuations, which is a significant advantage. Nevertheless, we eagerly anticipate regulating the global crypto market," concluded Bruno Bailey, CEO of TechBerry.
Jeff Bezos also expressed excitement about the opportunities presented by the development of artificial intelligence. According to him, AI is a powerful technology capable of radically transforming various industries, from logistics to healthcare, and bringing significant improvements to people's daily lives. However, he also noted that he approaches the rapid advancement of AI with caution, emphasizing that all processes in this field should not be rushed but carried out with the highest safety measures. "I hope the scenario doesn't play out like in the movies we're all familiar with," Bezos joked. Speaking about cryptocurrencies, he added that global changes in this field will not happen quickly. Regulating and licensing the cryptocurrency market on a global scale is a complex and lengthy process that will require significant time and effort.
From these comments, it is clear that the development of AI is rapidly accelerating and cannot be stopped.
As for cryptocurrencies, at this time, there are no compelling grounds to determine a unified direction for their development.
