Edwards Hallmark at Mayfaire to shut its doors in March - WWAYTV3

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- After more than two decades of serving the community, Edwards Hallmark at Mayfaire Town Center will close its doors at the end of March.

The store will shut down after its lease was not renewed.

As the closure date approaches, Edwards Hallmark will continue to operate, offering merchandise at discounts of up to 40% as it works to clear out its remaining inventory.

Assistant Manager Kathy Enlow, who has been with the store for over four years, shared a heartfelt message for the store's patrons.

"We get to know our customers by name, and we're definitely going to miss that," said Enlow. "It's been a big part of who we are, and it's going to be tough to say goodbye."

The store's final day of operation will be March 22, and a special Customer Appreciation Day will be held.
