Can Derrick White take a leap with the Boston Celtics this season? The Colorado native will see his usage and responsibilities with the Celtics jump considerably next season, and it could go one of two likely ways. Either White will show he is able to take on a bigger role with Boston in the future, or his game will start to show some cracks under pressure, with his efficiency going down and/or his defensive chops taking a step back to compensate.

We are of the mind here at the Celtics Wire that White will thrive in such a role, but there is a case to be made that any player being asked to add to their load may not play as well as they did when they had more help around them.
