The experience will be made up of three separate attractions that will all be housed in the 39-acre Grand Prix Plaza, featuring more than 100,000sq.ft of adrenaline-fuelled entertainment.

F1 Drive will allow guests to ride in high-performance go-karts with F1-inspired features, including an LED steering wheel display and DRS technology, that allow riders to feel the speed, sights and sounds of F1.

Up to 20 guests will compete around the 500m track that has 31 turns, ranging from hairpins to chicanes and neon-lit straights. Visitors will be able to enjoy an interactive, tech-driven 4D experience, called F1 X.

The attraction will contain "legendary artifacts and iconic F1 cars".

"Grand Prix Plaza represents a significant investment in the future of Formula 1 in Las Vegas," said Emily Prazer, president and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, inc. and chief commercial officer for Formula 1.

"These new attractions will offer unprecedented access to F1, giving many fans their first up-close look at a Formula 1 car before stepping into a racing simulator or even karting on a portion of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit."

It will also place guests in a 4D cinema that puts them in the driver's seat of their custom-designed F1 car as they race around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit with authentic F1 training seats, realistic visuals and visceral effects like wind, vibrations and the scent of burning rubber.

Jonathan Linden, co-CEO of Round Room Live and producer of The Formula 1 Exhibition, said, "These new experiences are as close to an F1 race as one can get without being a professional driver.

"This is the largest-scale F1 exhibition we've debuted in North America, and there was no better place to do it than the home of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

"Whether you're a lifelong fan or new to the grid, this is an inside look at what makes F1 a global phenomenon - with plenty of thrills along the way."

Guests can pre-order tickets for the grand opening on March 6.
