TrinityBridge, Formerly Close Brothers AM, Embarks on a New Era as an Independent Wealth Manager with £35M Investment

After the recent sale and rebranding of Close Brothers Asset Management to TrinityBridge, the newly independent wealth management firm has unveiled its technology investment roadmap, signaling the start of an exciting new chapter.
TrinityBridge has committed to a £35 million initiative to modernize its technology and operational infrastructure. This investment aims to elevate the experience for both clients and staff, playing a pivotal role in achieving the firm's strategic goals and its vision of becoming the UK's premier destination for wealth management professionals and their clients.
A cornerstone of this plan is the creation of a cutting-edge investment platform, developed in collaboration with top-tier industry partners. TrinityBridge has teamed up with SEI to implement the SEI Wealth Platform (SWP) and SEI Data Cloud, while also integrating Objectway's Portfolio Management Solution and outsourcing order execution to Winterflood Business Services (WBS). To further enhance its platform, the firm is partnering with Snowflake and leveraging Microsoft Azure for data and integration services.
Beyond the platform, TrinityBridge's investment will strengthen its HR, finance, and risk management systems, while transitioning its data centers to Microsoft Azure. This shift will unlock access to advanced development and data science tools. Additionally, a portion of the funding is earmarked for enhancing the digital experience, with a focus on differentiating client interactions and boosting front-office productivity through digital and AI-driven solutions.
Gregg Clarke, Chief Operating Officer of TrinityBridge, stated:
"This investment in our operating model and technology solutions is a defining step as we launch our journey as an independent business. It’s a critical enabler of our growth strategy."
