Two new buildings add to development momentum near Meadows Field

This roughly 10,000-square-foot "spec" building recently finished construction at the Silver Wings business park next to Meadows Field.

A pair of high-end industrial buildings that have finished construction, or nearly so, next to Meadows Field Airport will test what has been deemed a slowing market for such real estate in Kern County.

The two warehouse-type structures, one measuring about 10,000 square feet and the other 16,000, are being marketed for lease at the Mojibi family's Silver Wings Commerce Center just south of Merle Haggard Drive in Oildale.
