Uber Partners with Delta to Let SkyMiles Members Earn Points on Rides and Deliveries
April 22nd, 2025

Delta SkyMiles members who reside in the United States can now collect miles through an exclusive partnership with Uber by earning points from their rides and Uber Eats food deliveries. The partnership between Uber and Delta SkyMiles aims to enhance airport travel services while Uber launches its Airport Shuttle service in Atlanta after its successful introduction in New York City.

The combination of economic uncertainty and reduced consumer confidence along with tightened border policies has resulted in decreased travel spending during 2025 so Uber provides value-based incentives to its users. The waitlist members of Uber can begin linking their accounts starting Tuesday while all members gain access on Thursday.

Linked SkyMiles members can earn miles through the following rewards:

Uber Eats rewards members with 1 mile for every dollar spent on orders exceeding $40.

UberX transportation to and from airports rewards members with 1 mile for each dollar spent.

Uber Comfort and Uber Black rides reward members with 2 miles for each dollar spent.

Users receive 3 miles for each dollar spent when they pre-book their rides through Uber Reserve.

The reserved airport ride miles do not combine with other rewards but users receive the highest available reward. The partnership includes additional benefits which allow Fly Delta app users to book Uber Reserve rides with their flights and SkyMiles members who use in-flight WiFi will receive 30% discounts on airport Uber pickup bookings starting in 2025.
