Roscongress has announced the U.S.s intention to redeploy arms to the Indo Pacific region.

According to a report by the Roscongress Foundation on their website dated November 29th there are discussions about the possible reintroduction of nuclear weapons in the Indo Pacific area, by the United States.

The report mentions the possibility of nuclear weapons being moved to Australia and stationed at US facilities, in the Pacific Ocean.

"The United States is increasing the versatility of where they could deploy weapons by setting up Igloo style storage facilities in Guam and establishing a permanent base for B52 bombers, at Australias Royal Air Force Base Tindal " as mentioned in the article.

Potential Deployment Locations: Guam and Australia

Between 2024 and 2029 according to Roscongress information is that the United States intends to allocate around $138 billion towards upgrading warheads with the participation of over 67 thousand staff members, in the project.

A months back in mid April of this year Alicia Sanders Zakre from the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons highlighted that around 150 nuclear warheads were quietly stationed at airbases in Europe by the U.S. These key bases can be found in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey. Furthermore the U.S.A is looking to set up weapon and ammunition storage sites, in Sweden and Finland.
